Noctualia handles international import and export of captive-bred raptors and other birds. All shipments are carried out with the corresponding CITES documentation and in full compliance with international regulations. We also have official authorized quarantine facilities for any type of bird.

Noctualia has official quarantine facilities authorized by the relevant health authorities. This allows us to manage both the import and export of any type of bird, meeting all health requirements at national and international level.

Export Process

Initial Enquiry

The client contacts Noctualia indicating the desired species and quantity. We verify availability and the import regulations of the destination country.

CITES Documentation

We process the CITES export permit through the Spanish administrative authority (MITECO). The client must obtain the CITES import permit in their country.

Shipment Preparation

Specimens are prepared for transport in IATA-approved containers (CR-20 / CR-20A for raptors), ensuring animal welfare conditions throughout the journey.

Transport

We coordinate air transport with airlines authorized for live animal transport. Each specimen travels with its CITES documentation, veterinary certificate and identification ring.
